If you see this error:
The DNS server 8.8.8.8 is not a valid IP address
You probably have selected the IPv6 instead of IPv4 setting:
IPv4 DNS servers could be 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
While IPv6 in this case should be:
- 2001:4860:4860::8888
- 2001:4860:4860::8844
